He denied América a fourth straight title - and now Las Águilas want to sign him
As they prepare their bid for a 17th Liga MX title, Club América are out to raid the current Mexican champions’ roster.
The transfer market is heating up as we approach the start of the 2025 Apertura tournament in Liga MX. Once again, all eyes are on Club América, who are actively seeking new signings for their ambitious project led by André Jardine.
One of the top targets for Las Águilas is 21-year-old Toluca forward Isaías Violante, as reported by César Luis Merlo.
According to Merlo, América has begun negotiations with Los Diablos Rojos to acquire the young talent. While no agreement has been reached yet, the reigning Mexican champions are open to letting him go if América improves its initial offer, which has not been disclosed.
How much would Violante cost América?
Transfermarkt values the Veracruz native at €3 million ($3.5 million), but his young age and contract with Toluca until mid-2028 mean his release clause is significantly higher.
In the recent Clausura 2025, Toluca head coach Antonio Mohamed used Violante primarily as a substitute. He made 16 appearances across the league and playoffs, contributing two goals and one assist, and ended the season with a championship medal.

Violante has also been a regular in various youth categories for the Mexican national team, making him a promising potential addition to América’s attack, which looked thin towards the end of the season.
Additionally, Violante’s inclusion on the 16-time domestic champions’ roster would help the club meet the league’s youth minutes requirement.
