How much does Will Still earn at Reims?
Still became the youngest Belgian coach in top-flight history and has impressed since moving to Reims.

French outlet L’Équipe have released a breakdown of Ligue 1 coaches’ salaries for the 2022-23 season. Unsurprisingly, PSG boss Christophe Galtier is the best-paid coach in the French top flight, with a monthly salary of €665,000.
Marseille’s Igor Tudor is in second place on the list, earning €330,000 per month. Former PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino was the league’s highest-earning coach with a salary of €1.1m per month when in charge of the French champions. Pochettino has been recently linked with a move back to Tottenham after Antonio Conte left the Premier League side.
Will Still is currently in charge of Reims and has done a sensational job since taking over the club, going on a 19-game unbeaten run. Much has been made of what Still has achieved in his short stint in Ligue 1 given the fact that he didn’t hold a UEFA Pro Licence. The 30-year-old continued to get results in the Champagne region of north-eastern France, including a draw away to PSG and Reims stuck by their young tactician who made a huge impact on the team.

Our exclusive interview with 30-year-old @StadeDeReims head coach Will Still, who tells his unique coaching story which has led him to being a Ligue 1 manager on a remarkable 14-game unbeaten run... 👨💻🏴
Who is Will Still?
Still is the son of English parents who emigrated early to Belgium. Football Manager and his fascination with tactics led Still to give up trying to become a pro at the age of 17 and try his hand at coaching. He trained to be a coach at Myerscough College in Preston. With the help of 2D video game animations, Still became a video analyst, before Belgian Second Division side Saint-Trond appointed him in 2014. As an interim coach, he became the youngest Belgian coach in top-flight history.
What Will Still is doing @StadeDeReims is incredible. It should be admired and not underestimated. It also shows what can be achieved when clubs are encouraged and willing to provide young people - players & coaches - with opportunities. pic.twitter.com/7K8flQta3T

Still joined Reims in 2021 to become the assistant to Óscar García. Under the Catalan coach, who was sacked in October, they developed a fast-paced style of play that led to a comfortable finish last season. Still is currently the youngest coach in Europe’s top five leagues and his Reims side sit in ninth place in the table, seven points from the European places.
