Kane keeps Arsenal rivalry alive with Champions League comments
The former Tottenham Hotspur striker spoke about his favourite for the Champions League. It’s not Arsenal.

Harry Kane made sure Spurs fans smiled at least once this season with comments that showed he still has a place in his heart reserved for north London.
The now Bayern Munich forward suffered Champions League heartbreak at the penultimate hurdle, falling to the all-powerful PSG in the semi-final round.
They will now play Arsenal, Tottenham’s local rivals, and Kane made it clear that The Gunners are not favourites going into the game on May 30.
“It is really even,” he told the media in the aftermath of the defeat on aggregate. “Two totally different teams in the way they play but two very strong teams. It will be an interesting final.

“Some teams have a different style”
“PSG being champions probably hold the right to be slight favourites but overall, two top teams going at it and it will be an even match,“ he said. PSG and Bayern played out an epic first leg game, with the French side winning 5-4 in France. The game was a celebration of attacking football, and drew a lot of comparisons with Arsenal’s more rigid, controlled style of play, something Kane appeared to address in cryptic comments after the game: “Us and PSG have a similar way of going about it,” he said before adding that “some of the other top teams have a different style. That is the beauty of football, it can be anything that gets you over the line.”
As for whether or not he will watch the game, Kane said he didn’t know, explaining that "it depends where I am.”
“Right now I am just disappointed. It’s tough to take right now. Over the two legs we had enough moments to have a different outcome but it didn’t go our way. Some decisions today didn’t go our way and [we] played a lot of good football, but the final ball wasn’t there.
“I think it has been a very strong season, but always in the Champions League it will come down to the final margins. We had the dream of winning all the trophies, we are good enough to be able to do that and that is why it hurts.”
Kane hinted at the contentious refereeing decisions, with two handball calls going the way of PSG. “Everyone who watched the game will have the same decision,” he said. “How you give the handball last week and don’t give it this week, both are just crazy. PSG should have had a clear second yellow card. He [the referee] changed his mind," he admitted, before speculating that “maybe the atmosphere got to him.”
