Liga MX returns for matchday 4 after Leagues Cup break
It was a disappointing tournament for the Mexican teams with only Monterrey reaching the last four, but now it is back to regular business.

After nearly a month - you know why - the Liga MX has made its return this weekend. With the exception of Monterrey, who played the third-place match in the Leagues Cup, the remaining 16 teams resumed their participation in the Mexican tournament.

Notably, only Tigres secured a convincing victory in their match, while the day concluded with four 1-1 draws: Pumas vs Toluca, Juárez vs Chivas, Querétaro vs Pachuca, and América vs Atlas.
León vs Mazatlán and Puebla vs Atlético San Luis concluded with scores of 2-1 in favor of the Guanajuato and San Luis Potosí teams respectively. Cruz Azul and Santos played to a 2-2 draw, while Tigres ruthlessly defeated Necaxa by a score of 3-0. The Monterrey vs Tijuana match for this round remains pending.
