Manchester United confirm pre-season game against Borussia Dortmund at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas

The team led by Erik Ten Hag will visit Las Vegas for the first time as part of their pre-season tour next summer.

A few days after Manchester United confirmed their return to the United States for next summer’s pre-season, the English club announced one of the venues where it will play a pre-season game ahead of he 2024 season.

Through a statement, the Red Devils team confirmed that they will visit Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 20-time English champions will face Borussia Dortmund in Las Vegas, the German team that is still hoping to win the Bundesliga title despite falling to defeat at the weekend against Bayern Münich in the last-gasp battle for the title.

When will the game be played?

The game between the Red Devils and the ‘Black & Yellow’ will take place on Sunday, July 30, at at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, home of the NFL Raiders.

Manchester United, for one night only

The club statement read: Following the announcement of our second USA summer Tour 2023 fixtures we can confirm that Manchester United are the blockbuster arrival in Las Vegas, but we aren’t playing 10, 20, 30 times…we’ll be there for one night only, against Borussia Dortmund at the Allegiant Stadium, on Sun 30 July 2023 (KO 18:00 PDT) to put on the biggest show of the year. ONE. NIGHT. ONLY.

Gio Reyna excited about the visit to the United States

Via social media, Borussia Dortmund also confirmed their visit to the United States and the clash against Manchester United at the home of the Raiders.

As part of this series of posts, the German team released the news posting an American flag, to which the American soccer player Gio Reyna later replied, referring to the visit to his native country as part of this preseason with Edin Terzic’s squad.
