Mbappé is getting closer to Real Madrid. Last Thursday his exit from PSG at the end of this season was confirmed and those close to the French club consider Mbappé's deal with Los Blancos is done and dusted.

In any case, Real Madrid are not expected to make this deal official until the team finish the season, so as not to distract from the remainder of the campaign. However, one of the Frenchman’s former teammates at PSG, Neymar, has caused a stir it up on Instagram with a like.

‘PSG began to sell the players who did not agree with Mbappé’s thinking’

The current Al Hilal player liked an Instagram post a month ago which talked about Mbappé's goodbye: “No player should be above a club. PSG, an example of football management, knew how to bring together the best players and had the best team on the planet. When the team began to perform well, the ego of ‘a certain Frenchman’ began to disturb the atmosphere.”

“Mbappé began to feel excluded” the message continued, “the majority of the team spoke Spanish and he threatened to leave the team. In order not to lose their precious one (Mbappé), PSG began to sell the players who did not agree with Mbappé's thinking and brought in the French players he wanted.”

“After doing everything possible to make everything go the way he wanted, Mbappé informed PSG that he would leave the club for FREE at the end of the season. And in the end, this is what PSG has left.”

After this like from the Brazilian, it is clear that the relationship with Mbappé and with PSG did not end well. Both the Brazilian and the Frenchman arrived in Paris the same summer, 2017, after the Parisian team spent €400 million between them to try to win the Champions League. That duo did not achieve their goal and now Neymar is in Arabia and Mbappé is living out his last months in the capital, with Real Madrid on the horizon.
