Real Betis could attempt to hijack Sergio Ramos to Sevilla deal

If defender Luiz Felipe does move to Saudi Arabia, Betis could make a move for Ramos, who is a free agent.

With Sergio Ramos to return to the city of Seville, Real Betis are keeping an eye on the player’s situation in the event that the Saudi Pro League decides to sign centre-back Luiz Felipe.

Betis’ possible late move for Ramos

If Luiz Felipe does make the move to the Middle East, Betis could make an approach for the experienced Ramos, who is a free agent after leaving PSG earlier this year and is reportedly close to signing for his former club Sevilla - Betis’ great rivals.

According to Besoccer, there has been a certain unanimity within the club that Ramos would be the best player that could be acquired in the event of the sale of Luiz Felipe. If Betis don’t, however, attempt to sign the Real Madrid legend, it will be because of the intervention of the President of the Betis Foundation, Rafael Gordillo, who believes it’s not the right move for the Andalusian club.
