Real Madrid hit $1.35 billion in revenue
Commercial growth, new sponsorship deals and the Santiago Bernabéu continue to drive Real Madrid toward another financial record.

Real Madrid has now spent three straight seasons at the top of world soccer’s revenue rankings, according to Deloitte. Last season, the Spanish giant posted a record-breaking €1.161 billion ($1.35 billion) in revenue, becoming only the second time the club crossed the billion-euro threshold.
But the numbers from the current financial year are expected to go even higher.
Early projections inside Valdebebas suggest Real Madrid will comfortably surpass €1.2 billion ($1.4 billion) in revenue this season, a figure no other sports organization in the world has ever reached.

Commercial growth drives another record year
As the season draws to a close, clubs across Europe are working to balance their books and satisfy the financial regulations imposed by both LaLiga and UEFA. Staying within those limits is critical to avoid problems registering players or qualifying for European competitions.
At Real Madrid, however, the outlook appears stronger than ever.
Internal estimates point toward an all-time financial record, fueled primarily by explosive commercial growth.
During the 2024-25 season, Real Madrid generated €594 million (over $690 million) in commercial revenue alone, a 23% increase from the previous year. The jump was driven by booming merchandise sales and the arrival of new sponsorship agreements.
The club also saw major gains in competition revenue, marketing income and stadium-related business.
Bernabéu revenue remains among the world’s best
Real Madrid posted €233 million ($271 million) in matchday revenue during the 2024-25 campaign, the second-highest figure ever recorded by a soccer club.
That total remained remarkably stable despite the team playing two fewer Copa del Rey home games. Champions League revenue stayed level because Madrid had to play an additional playoff round against Benfica to secure a spot in the Round of 16.
Part of the revenue generated by Xabi Alonso’s Real Madrid during July’s FIFA Club World Cup has also been included in the current financial year.
Although competition income dipped slightly compared to the trophy-filled 2023-24 season, when Madrid won both LaLiga and the Champions League, the club still met its preseason target of reaching at least the Champions League quarterfinals.

Adidas and Emirates deals could push shirt value toward $350 million
Looking ahead to next season, Real Madrid has already renewed its main sponsorship agreement with Emirates and is now deep in negotiations with Adidas over a new extension.
The Emirates deal runs through the 2030-31 season and is reportedly worth close to €74 million ($86 million) per year.
Madrid’s current contract with Adidas does not expire until 2029, but both sides are eager to expand the partnership further.
The ultimate goal is clear: Real Madrid wants the total sponsorship value of its jersey to approach €300 million ($350 million), a number that would further cement the club’s status as the financial powerhouse of world soccer.
