Select Liga MX teams unveil Call of Duty collaboration jerseys

Pachuca, Atlas, León, Santos, Querétaro and Tijuana will have a new Clausura 2024 third shirt after a joint venture between Mexican sportswear brand Charly and Activision.

The Mexican based sports brand Charly has forged an alliance with the popular video game Call of Duty (Activision) and unveiled collection of third jerseys that will be sported by six Liga MX clubs in the 2024 Liga MX Clausura that starts in January.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Call of Duty and the release of the Modern Warfare game, Atlas, Pachuca, Club León, Querétaro, Santos and Xolos have all unveiled new third shirts inspired by the gaming saga.

Each shirt was carefully thought through for each club with the Xolos de Tijuana being black and the club chose one of the most famous insignias of the Call of Duty franchise, the open mouth skull.

Leon opted for an urban camouflage graphic with a predominant olive green color complimented with certain shades of coffee.

The Gallos Blancos Querétaro also selected a camouflage graphic with gray tones given a pixelated treatment that has phosphorescent yellow lines which highlight aspects of the jersey.

The Santos shirt goes for a sand colour and storm elements of the Coahuila desert and features one of covers of the Modern Warfare 2 franchise.

Pachuca have selected a predominantly blue jersey and this graphic can be found in the new game Modern Warfare 3 that has just been launched worldwide.

The Atlas jersey is a blue-gray colour and features onee of the most important and relevant characters in the entire franchise, Simon “Ghost” Riley.
