How much does it cost to see Real Madrid in the Club World Cup in the US?
Real Madrid is one of 32 teams participating in the revamped FIFA Club World Cup, a tournament that will now be held every four years. With this new format, FIFA aims to breathe fresh life into the competition—offering massive cash prizes to attract the biggest clubs. The eventual champion is set to take home well over €100 million.
To justify those prizes, however, FIFA needs to fill stadiums—and that’s proving to be a challenge at this stage. Ticket sales have been sluggish for most matches. But not for Real Madrid. Their debut on June 18 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, against Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal, has already sold out.
Only legal resale tickets remain, available on the same platform that initially sold out the event. Prices now start at $268 for the cheapest seats and go up to $1,126—not including VIP packages.
Those are steep prices for a matchup against a relatively low-profile opponent like Al Hilal. Still, Madrid’s star power is clearly a draw. The other two group matches haven’t sold out yet but are well on their way.
The June 22 game against Mexico’s Pachuca at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte currently ranges from $101 to $535. A sell-out seems likely, given that Pachuca is a Mexican club playing on the same continent. However, interest might be slightly dampened by the fact that these teams already faced off recently in the Intercontinental Cup, where Madrid won 3-0.
The final group stage match, against Red Bull Salzburg in Philadelphia in the early hours of June 26–27, has also sold out. Remaining tickets are available only through legal resales, with prices between $238 and $945.
As the tournament progresses and the knockout rounds begin—especially once European giants start facing off—ticket prices are expected to climb even higher. In Madrid’s case, that trend has already begun, with all three matches either sold out or nearly there.
For comparison, the showdown between Atlético Madrid and PSG—two European clubs, with PSG being the reigning Champions League winners—still had tickets available right up until kick-off, with prices ranging from $80 to $373.
