This Italian team are trying to beat Real Madrid to Nico Paz
The future of the Como player is a cause for concern, as Inter Milan are interested. Corriere della Sera admits on its front page that it will depend on the new Real Madrid coach.
Nico Paz is the name on everyone’s lips in Italy. The entire Italian football world is closely watching what happens with the young Como player. They do not want to lose him, especially Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri have made the 21-year-old Spanish-Argentine their top transfer priority, with the idea that he would be the first signing Giuseppe Marotta makes this summer to strengthen the squad.
This Thursday, Nico Paz dominates the front page of Corriere dello Sport. The Italian newspaper claims that Inter Milan have already made a move, but that everything will depend on what Real Madrid decide. AS reported a few days ago that the Spanish club intend to activate their buy-back clause for Nico Paz, with the deadline set for 30 May.
Nico Paz’s numbers under Cesc Fàbregas leave little room for doubt. In 38 matches, he has scored 13 goals and provided 8 assists, establishing himself as a vital player for the northern Italian club.
“The rumours about Nico Paz and Inter are really exciting. He’s a serious player who plays for the team and has everything. I’d love for him to come to Inter, but he’s a champion and too expensive for Italy. Ours is a different league; right now, I think he would fit in at Real Madrid. Given the difficulties Italian football is going through, it’s unlikely he’ll stay. If our football doesn’t change, he’s destined to leave,” admitted Arturo Di Napoli.
Italy is already fearing the worst.
