Three Real Madrid no-shows to Vini Jr party invite
The Brazilian winger hosted a dinner at his house for the Real Madrid squad, but which three players didn’t show?
If Vinicius Jr invited you round to his pad for a couple of drinks and a few rounds of Madden 25, you’d probably make room in your diary. Save for a really good excuse like a doctor’s appointment or a new episode of Only Murders in the Building, I certainly wouldn’t say no to having the chance at seeing what hand wash he uses in the downstairs bathroom.
With extravagant gifts being handed out to the players and even a special guest in attendance, the care and attention Vini Jr is showing to his teammates is doing a very good job of playing down those Saudi rumours that are as stubborn as one of those bathroom smells even Vini’s luxury air freshener can’t quite mask.

Vinicius Jr linked (again) to Saudi Arabia move
The talk is there of literally - used correctly, not as a Gen-Z exaggeration - more than a billion dollars on the table to be spread out amongst those involved, and if an invite for an oven pizza round Vini’s is tempting enough, I don’t know what one billion dollars worth of ‘come hither’ does to one’s innards.
But for three Real Madrid players, the invite wasn’t enough. Endrick, Arda Güler and Vallejo weren’t available for an evening at the Brazilian’s gaff, and had to decline. Fear not, dear reader, there is nothing wrong, and they all spoke to the player to explain their absence. Endrick and Arda probably just had homework and weren’t allowed to go to bed after 10pm.

Someone who did turn up was Sergio Ramos. No, he’s not signing in January, the ex-Real Madrid player clearly didn’t leave the WhatsApp group and was the surprise guest for many when they rang the doorbell.
