Tigres are busy planning the improvement they will make to their squad for the Apertura 2023 and have an ideal footballer in mind - Jean Meneses. Sources very close to the club informed AS Mexico that Robert Dante Siboldi hopes to sign the Chilean winger, as competition for Luis Quiñones and Diego Lainez.

However, it also has to be said that bringing the 30-year-old on board would not be a simple operation. Toluca directors will not let the player leave as he is a key cog in the project set up by Ignacio Ambriz, who has known him since his time in León.

Takeshi Meneses has a year and a half left on his contract with the devils (until June 2025), making a deal even more difficult, although there have been no offers or talks between club officials as of the moment.

Meneses arrived in Mexico in August 2018, joining from Universidad Concepción. In little less than five years at the club he has managed to win a league title with the Fiera (Apertura 2021), the Leagues Cup and ended as a runner-up in the Apertura 2022, both under the orders of Ambriz.
