As happened last year in Munich, Nasser Al-Khelaifi has invited all Paris Saint-Germain employees to the Champions League final in Budapest on May 30 as a gesture of gratitude for their work throughout the season. At the Qatari owner’s initiative, the employees will have the opportunity to attend the match with all expenses paid.

It’s a well-established tradition at PSG, the reigning European champions, who are on track to retain their title against Arsenal. Last season, 500 PSG employees traveled to Munich and had the opportunity to witness Luis Enrique’s team thrashing Inter 5-0.

PSG’s unique initiative

PSG asserts that “this initiative reflects the ‘One Club’ spirit that has driven PSG throughout the season, recently illustrated by the collective bonus initiative, in which the players agreed to relinquish part of their bonus fund for the benefit of all employees.” The squad forgoing a portion of their bonuses to be allocated to employees is a first in France, as no other club has adopted a similar measure.

PSG wants to involve everyone who has been, to a greater or lesser extent, instrumental in the most important period in the club’s history. Last season, they achieved their first-ever treble after winning the Champions League, Ligue 1, and the Coupe de France. This season, despite being eliminated in the round of 16 of the cup competition, they could culminate it with a second consecutive Champions League title if they manage to defeat Arsenal in Budapest.

Nasser Al-Khelaïfi's message to all PSG staff members.

Nasser Al Khelaïfi’s letter to all PSG staff members

“Dear colleagues,

Last night, Paris Saint-Germain secured its qualification for a second consecutive UEFA Champions League Men’s Final. This historic achievement is a tribute to the hard work, high standards, and commitment of everyone who contributes each day to the continued growth of Paris Saint-Germain.

While this qualification is a tremendous source of pride for our Club, there is still one final step for us to take together in Budapest. More than ever, it will require complete focus, unwavering determination, and absolute unity from all of us.

Great European occasions are always built collectively. In Budapest, our team will represent far more than our colours – it will carry with it the energy, commitment, and passion of the entire Paris Saint-Germain family. Every department, every role, every member of staff contributes to this collective momentum and to the ambition that drives our Club each and every day.

Last year, many of you had the opportunity to be in Munich to support the team during the European Final. It was a powerful moment that perfectly embodied the unity and sense of belonging that define our Club. In that same spirit, it was important to me that all employees should once again have the opportunity to be part of this final stage of our European journey.

We would like to invite all staff members to join the team in Budapest for this exceptional occasion. I also know that some of you will be mobilised in Budapest and Paris to support the organisation of the events. This commitment will be just as much a part of the collective momentum that unites us all behind the Club.

Victoriano and the leadership team will be in touch with you very shortly to share the practical details and arrangements.

In the meantime, I would like to sincerely thank you for your commitment, professionalism, and dedication to Paris Saint-Germain.

I look forward to seeing you all very soon.

Yours sincerely,

Nasser Al-Khelaïfi

President, Paris Saint-Germain".
