The 49-year-old head coach will be hoping to impress in Qatar after the US failed to secure a place at the Russia 2018 World Cup.
The USMNT head to the Qatar World Cup after failing to qualify for the 2018 tournament in Russia and pressure mounting on head coach Berhalter to impress with the US set to co-host the 2026 edition with Canada and Mexico.

The Americans then followed up the defeat with a drab 0-0 draw against Saudi Arabia in Murcia, Spain at the end of the month.
The former Columbus Crew boss took control of the national team in December 2018. The USMNT is 36-11-9 in 56 matches under Berhalter, a 65.4% win rate.
