Atlanta United star Thiago Almada, a world champion with Argentina and the MLS MVP for the month of March, is the most valuable player in the North American league.

His recent player-of-the-month award came after he scored four goals and supplied four assists in four appearances for the Five Stripes. In the process, the 21-year-old made MLS history: no player in the league had ever been named MVP for the month with such figures.
