Tom Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl champion and entrepreneur, has joined forces with an investment fund to become a minority owner of Birmingham City.

A football icon widely acknowledged as one of the greatest players in the league’s history, Brady retired in 2023 after enjoying a remarkable career spanning 23 seasons. Among his countless accolades and achievements, Brady set the record for the most Super Bowl victories with seven and the most Super MVPs with five. Additionally, he received the NFL Most Valuable Player Award on three occasions and the NFL Offensive Player of the Year Award twice. Brady has also been recognized with numerous ESPY Awards and Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year distinctions and earned a spot on the NFL 100th Anniversary ‘All-Time Team.’

Brady is embarking on a new career journey after retiring from the NFL. He will be the new Chairman of the Advisory Board for Birmingham City Football Club, working closely with the Board and leadership team. Brady will utilize his vast leadership experience to assist the sports science department in health, nutrition, wellness, and recovery systems. Furthermore, he will collaborate with the Board and management team to develop global marketing strategies and identify fresh commercial partnerships for the club.

The famous NFL quarterback Tom Brady has expanded his business ventures beyond sports. After his illustrious football career, he created the TB12 brand with trainer Alex Guerrero, offering fitness equipment, dietary supplements, and coaching facilities. He also launched 199 Productions, a production company, and co-founded Autograph, an NFT platform. Additionally, Brady founded his apparel brand, Brady Brand, to fit into all aspects of modern life.

The Chairman of the Board, Tom Wagner, has expressed excitement about Tom Brady joining the Birmingham City team, stating that it signals the club’s intention to reach world-class standards. Tom Brady will invest in the club and bring his extensive expertise to the table as Chair of the Advisory Board, which will directly impact the Men’s, Women’s, and Academy teams. He aims to make Birmingham City a respected leader in nutrition, health, wellness, and recovery in football.

Blues fans were promised on May 8th, 2023, that the team would add experts from the world of sport and football to the team, laying the foundation for future success. With the addition of Garry Cook as CEO, Hope Powell as Women’s Technical Director, and Tom Brady, the team is off to a strong start. While success may take time, having great leaders in place makes anything possible.
