We’ve already seen 20 of the 24 qualifiers for the 34th AFCON in action, with four left to start their campaigns on Wednesday. Of the favourites, Sadio Mané's Senegal are the only ones to have got off to a winning start, with Victor Osimhen’s Nigeria and Mo Salah’s Egypt held to draws in their opening matches, while Jordan Ayew’s Ghana were shocked by Cape Verde.

Group F is last to get underway, with only two matches to be played on Wednesday as matchday one of the group stage concludes. And we will get our first glimpse of Morocco, the surprise package of the 2022 World Cup, who became the first African and Arab nation to reach the semi-finals in the tournament’s history. After memorable wins over Belgium and Canada in the group stage, and having eliminated Spain and Portugal in the first two knockout rounds, The Atlas Lions were eventually beaten by France in the last four.
