Will James Rodríguez return against San Diego? Minnesota United injury report
James is working towards his return to MLS action for Minnesota United, following his hospitalization with severe dehydration.

Minnesota United midfielder James Rodríguez continues to show positive signs in his recovery, after suffering from severe dehydration following Colombia’s friendly defeat to France on March 29.
Rodríguez was hospitalized in Minnesota as a precaution, allowing doctors to keep him under observation and carry out ongoing monitoring. The player was later discharged, before his club moved to shut down rumors that he is suffering from rhabdomyolysis, a muscle-wasting condition that is potentially life-threatening.
“Minnesota United FC takes the health and privacy of its players seriously,” the team said in a statement on Monday. “The club and our medical professionals can unequivocally state there has been no clinical or laboratory evidence of rhabdomyolysis.
“We respectfully ask members of the media and the public to refrain from further speculation regarding James’s health.”

Now back in Minnesota training
On Monday, Rodríguez reported to Minnesota United’s training facility for a carefully supervised reintegration session. One day later, he was already seen training alongside his teammates.
The Major League Soccer side also shared photos from the session, showing James completing drills normally with the rest of the squad.
Since the No. 10 joined Minnesota United in February, fitness issue have restricted him to just 39 minutes of game time for the Loons, across two MLS appearances. Minnesota is now gearing up for this weekend’s matchup against San Diego FC, with the 34-year-old’s availability dependent on how his recovery continues to progress.
