Update:

Antonee Robinson’s day in Chicago looked like it was going to be one of his best-ever showings on a pitch for his national team. A thundering volley cancelled out Kai Havertz’s early opener for Germany in the final preparation match ahead of the World Cup.

However, around the hour mark in the friendly, Pochettino was forced into taking off his star left-back after he suffered what looked to be a hamstring injury. The player was replaced by the trusty option of Auston Trusty.

What injury does Robinson have?

At present, we don’t know what injury he has and consequently how bad it is. However, his World Cup does not look in danger; the player managed to walk off the pitch unaided and did not rush down the tunnel for treatment, instead staying on the sidelines to perform stretches with the medical team.

This hints at the fact that Pochettino’s substitution was merely precautionary and not due to any serious issue that puts his participation into doubt. Early signs point to the issue being cramp.
