Toni Kroos' Real Madrid pay packet revealed: 10.9m a year
Der Spiegel received access to documents uncovered by Football Leaks, the platform that specialises in exposing contracts in the sport.
German magazine Der Spiegel on Friday published details of the salary enjoyed by Toni Kroos at Real Madrid.
The news outlet was given access to a host of contracts by Football Leaks, the platform also responsible for uncovering documents including the agreement governing Gareth Bale's 2013 transfer to Madrid from Tottenham Hostpur.
And among the cache of contracts seen by Der Spiegel is that of the Real midfielder, revealing that Kroos' deal with Los Blancos, dated 10 July 2014, currently sees him pocket gross earnings of 10.9 million euros per season in the Spanish capital.
Kroos' employment agreement with the Santiago Bernabéu outfit also features performance-related bonuses and add-ons for individual awards.
Of particular note is a 1.8-million-euro payment from Real if the 26-year-old is a FIFA Ballon d'Or finalist.
