Susaeta joins list of absentees for Bernabéu trip

Athletic Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde named his squad for Saturday’s match at the Bernabéu with another absence adding to his selection problems.

Markel Susaeta was a last-minute withdrawal from the squad, joining Raúl García and Ibai Gómez, who are both injured, as well as Iñaki Williams and Mikel San José, who are serving one-match suspensions.

The loss of Susaeta added to that of Williams, and Gómez's long-term injury, leaves Valverde short of wide options for the game.
