Three lions: England roar back to win in Berlin
Eric Dier's late header won it for England as Roy Hodgson's men came back from 2-0 down to see off the world champions at the Olympiastadion.
England turned around a two-goal deficit at Berlin's Olympiastadion to sneak a morale-enriching 3-2 victory over Germany. Earlier Germany had a goal wrongly ruled out but that didn't deter Joachim Löw's side from taking advantage of some rickety defending from the visitors to take the lead through goals either side of half-time from Toni Kroos and Mario Gómez. Roy Hodgson's team showed courage to react and were given hope of a turnaround when Harry Kane shot low past Neuer on the turn. The equaliser was something special, a sensational backheel from susbtitute, Jamie Vardy. England won a corner with seconds of regulation time left, and in came Eric Dier, storming into the six-yard box to beat Neuer with a bullet header.
