German goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen talked about the speculation about his future and offered his impressions of the first leg of the Champions League quarter finals in which Barcelona overcame Atlético Madrid when interviewed for Onda Cero radio show 'Al Primer Toque'.

Already a Champions League and Copa del Rey winner with the Spanish champions he is primarily being used in the cup competitions this season, only seeing pitch time in four league games. There has been much speculation about his future with Pep Guardiola's new project with the blue half of Manchester providing some very strong links to the player. In the interview he was clear about the current situation and confirmed that he had not signed any contract with City but regarding the speculation went on to say, "this is a question for the summer."

"We have many important games at the moment and that's all I can say. The most important thing is to play well; at the end of the season we will look at the situation at speak again. Barcelona has a spectacular side and we will see how it goes."

With regards to the tie against Atlético he remarked, "it was an intense game and, as always against Atléti, a difficult one. For this reason we are all happy with the win. It's a good result and I'm hopeful that we can win when we go there [El Calderón] too. It's always difficult to play against 10 men, where they fill the penalty box and aim to counter attack. We're satisfied with the result but we still have more to do."

Ter Stegen also spoke about the red card for Fernando Torres and felt it was fair. "For me it was a sending off; it was a decision for the referee, and I think he got it right. Atlético are full of heart and make it difficult but we'll take the victory."
