Real Madrid in medical chaos as Cristiano and Benzema complain
Real Madrid have been made to look the fool when it comes to medical issues for quite a while now. And Cristiano’s current injury has once again fully exposed the club’s bad management. Cover ups, improvisation, lack of information and widespread disagreement are unfortunately nothing new at the Spanish giants.
The club’s awful communications only serve to exacerbate the chaos: Cristiano conducting his own medical tests, Benzema receiving treatment from a physio sacked by the club months ago and a lack of dressing room confidence in the club’s head doctor.
Apparently Sergio Ramos once got so angry with Dr Jesus Olmo that he grabbed him by the shirt collar and the club captains have complained to Director José Ángel Sánchez about Dr Olmo on a number of occasions. Up to now the club seems to have put the unrest down to conceited, arrogant behaviour by spoiled players and refused to make any changes. But, in the end, the players will come out on top in this fight. Watch this space.
