Benzema and Casemiro return to Real squad as trio miss out

Both trained as normal and are in the frame to face Valencia, but Madrid also have three key players unavailable for the clash with Los Che.

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane will be without Dani Carvajal, Keylor Navas and Gareth Bale for Sunday's LaLiga encounter with Valencia at the Santiago Bernabéu (17:00 CEST).

Carvajal has been confined to the gym with a muscle niggle, while Real revealed on Friday that Navas (Achilles tendon) and Bale (knee) both picked up problems in Los Blancos' Champions League semi-final second leg with Manchester City.

But Karim Benzema and Casemiro, who missed the midweek victory over City through injury, are back in the Madrid squad to face Los Che.

The pair trained as normal with their team-mates in Saturday's session at Valdebebas, having also gone through their paces with the group the day before.

And in his pre-match press conference ahead of the visit of Pako Ayestarán's men, Zidane said: "Benzema will be with us tomorrow, he's ready to play. How much, I don't know. Casemiro will also be with us."
