Granada victory over Las Palmas also probed by LaLiga - reports

The Andalusians' 3-2 top-flight win at the Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes is said to have aroused suspicion at the league's governing body.

Update:
Granada victory over Las Palmas also probed by LaLiga - reports

LaLiga is investigating Granada's recent 3-2 Primera División victory over Las Palmas for potential match-fixing and betting fraud, according to reports across Spain.

This comes on the back of news that the governing body responsible for professional league football in the country has allegedly launched a probe into Rayo Vallecano's 2-1 defeat to Real Sociedad last Sunday.

April's week 36 fixture between Granada and Las Palmas saw the then relegation-threatened Andalusians come back from two goals down to beat a visiting side with nothing to play for.

Las Palmas were 2-0 up within 12 minutes thanks to a Jonathan Viera brace, before the hosts quickly fought back to level by the midway point of the first half. After the break, Granada then hit a 70th-minute winner through Ricardo Costa.

And according to El País, the game is under investigation by LaLiga's department of integrity over possible attempts to manipulate the half-time score and fix the final outcome of the match.
