Pogba's little message to Real Madrid? He is "all in white"
French midfielder Pogba, the centre of a transfer tug of war, posted a photo on Instagram in the colours of Real Madrid. Manchester United are also in the race to sign him.
Paul Pogba is in the eye of the transfer market hurricane this summer, with Real Madrid and Manchester United involved in a battle for the French midfielders signature.
Any gesture from Pogba analysed to death
Which means that any gesture, no matter how small, is noted and picked apart, to see if it's more likely the player will end up at Old Trafford or the Bernabéu.
And to set things off today, Pogba posted a photo on Instagram, along with the words "all in white", which of course set off speculation, some of it fevered, that this was a clear wink to Real Madrid, who of course play in all white...
Manchester United lining up 100 million pound bid for Pogba
Manchester United meanwhile, according to the Guardian, are said to be already set to fire in a 100 million pound bid (119 million euros), though 13 million of that is in performance related add-ons, something Juve are said to be unlikely to contemplate.
And if Pogba's all-white message is really a nod and a wink to Florentino Pérez, rather than a call for peace and love, then maybe Manchester United are swimming against the tide anyway...
