Vázquez on Ballon d'Or winner: "I don't think there's any doubt"

Real Madrid's Lucas Vázquez has strongly backed team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo to scoop the 2016 Ballon d'Or in January's FIFA Gala in Zurich.

Having played a key role in Real's Champions League success and captained Portugal to glory at Euro 2016 this summer, 'CR7' is the hot favourite to win the award for a fourth time.

"I don't think there's any doubt"

And Vázquez told Real Madrid's official website: "Right now I don't think there's any doubt. Cristiano Ronaldo deserves it more than anyone else and I hope he wins it again.

"Playing alongside him makes everything easier. You often send him a bad pass but he'll score anyway. It's incredible what he's doing".
