Zidane sees Castilla fall to 4th consecutive defeat under Solari

Zinedine Zindane witnessed Real Madrid Castilla lose their final game of preseason on Sunday against Real Valladolid Promesas.
The presence of the French coach, who brought 11 of Real’s reserve team on the club’s North American tour this summer, was not enough to inspire Castilla to victory, with Santiago Solari’s men falling to 2-0 defeat at the hands of the fellow Segunda B side.
Not a good preseason for Solari
It’s not been a good preseason for new coach Solari, who’s only led Castilla to one victory during the off-season period (albeit without many of the Castilla regulars who went away with the first team). The reserves have lost four out of the five games they’ve played this summer.
Castilla will begin their Segunda B campaign next Saturday (20 August) at Valdebedas against Real Socieded reserves at 20:00 (CET).
