Carvajal, back with the group: now only Bale remains out
The squad trained in Valdebebas on Tuesday, to prepare for the Osasuna game. A minute's silence was held for former club director and president Luis Gómez-Montejano.
Carvajal boost
There was some good news for Zidane on Tuesday - Dani Carvajal returned to train at the same pace as his team mates to take a step towards full fitness, just fours days away from Saturday's game against Osasuna at El Sadar.
Zidane continues to recover his injured players and with Carvajal back training as normal, the right-back position should now be filled against Osasuna. Meanwhile, Luka Modric and James Rodríguez are both back working with the ball, and like Carvajal could enter the list this weekend.
Just under one month out
Carvajal's last outing was on 15 January, in the league meeting with Sevilla at the Sánchez Pizjuán. A Grade II injury to his right hamstring meant he missed both of the Copa del Rey legs against Celta and the league games against Málaga and Real Sociedad.
Waiting for Bale
Now only Gareth Bale remains on the casualty list. Bale combined exercises out in the open air with work inside the gym today. He is in the final stage of his recovery process and Zidane, who called up his son Enzo for today's session, will soon have all of his squad available for selection.
