Ex-Real Madrid player Royston Drenthe releases rap song
The 29-year-old was released by Baniyas after a whistle-stop tour of other clubs in Europe and has released a rap song with plenty more to come, according to the YouTube page.

How do you go from Real Madrid to being released by Baniyas to recording rap songs under the name Roya2Faces in under a decade? You'll have to ask 29-year-old Royston Drenthe because he released a song callled 'Paranoid' this week that has amassed just over 3,000 views on YouTube unde that very pseudonym.
Drenthe's career trajectory
Drenthe's career trajectory is a strange one. He burst onto the scene along with the likes of Ryan Babel as the Netherlands strode to victory in the 2007 under-21 Euro Championship and moved to the capital of Spain that summer for around €13.5 million. Just six years after that move, he was signing on the dotted line for Reading as a free agent and things for worse from there from a footballing standpoint for the former Feyenoord winger. He was released by Baniyas in the UAE most recently.
The YouTube page that published the song says that music has always been a passion of Drenthe's and that there will be plenty more songs to come from the former Real Madrid, Everton and Sheffield Wednesday player.
