From Navarra to the Canary Islands, part four of our look at all twenty clubs in the Spanish top flight and their respective football grounds.
Part four of our look at all 20 LaLiga team's stadia takes in Las Palmas, Leganes, Malaga and Osasuna.
UD Las Palmas
The new Estadio Gran Canaria was open for business on May 8th 2003 as Las Palmas hosted Belgian outfit Anderlecht in a friendly match which the Canary Islanders won 2-1. With a calamity to house 32.400 spectators the stadium is owned by the local Gran Canaria council. The average attendance at the stadium this season so far is 20.722 fans.
CD Leganes
Estadio Butarque in the Madrid suburbs is owned by the local council and boasts a capacity of 10.922 spectators. The ground was opened for business on February 14, 1998 and the compact stadium underwent a major face-lift to coincide with the "Pepineros" reaching the top flight for the first time ever this season. Plans are afoot to increase the capacity to 12.000 but the club maintaining Primera status is key in any development planning.
Malaga CF
Located in Paseo de Martiricos, Málaga have played at La Rosaleda since September 14 1941 as the home side faced local Andalusian rivals Sevilla CF. The ground holds 30.044 supporters and hosted three games during the 1982 Spanish World Cup. The average attendance this season at the Costa del Sol based is 20.100 spectators.
CA Osasuna
The 2nd of 1967 saw the gates pen for the first time at El Sadar, home to Pamplona based Osasuna. The stadium holds 18.761 spectators and renovations over the years have led to the addition of a club shop, meeting rooms and executive suites at the compact ground. 17.770 fans packed into the ground for the recent home game against Real Madrid which boasts the highest attendance this season so far.
