Champions League: Cristiano out to rediscover scoring touch
Usually so deadly in Europe's elite club tournament, Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has averaged a goal every 315 minutes in 2016/17Real Madrid v. Fuenlabrada live online
Cristiano Ronaldo has hit 389 goals in 379 appearances for Real Madrid, a stunning rate of more than one a game that has seen him become Los Blancos' all-time top scorer ahead of club legends Raúl González Blanco and Alfredo Di Stéfano.
And no fewer than 80 of Cristiano's strikes for Madrid have come in the Champions League - a tournament in which the four-time Ballon d'Or winner has netted 95 times in total throughout his career - more than any other player.
Unusually low-scoring Champions League campaign
However, this season has seen the Portugal captain endure an unusually barren campaign in the competition. The 32-year-old has scored just twice in 630 minutes of action - one against Sporting CP, and the other at Borussia Dortmund.
One goal every 315 minutes is, by a distance, his lowest Champions League average since joining Real Madrid. Indeed, he has managed a goal a game - or better - in five previous European campaigns at Real.
Out to rectify low strike rate on Tuesday
It's a stat that CR7 will look to set about putting right as Real bid to seal their progress to the quarter-finals in Tuesday's last-16 return at Napoli.
