Carlo Ancelotti insisted on Friday that want-away young stars Joshua Kimmich and Kingsley Coman, who are growing restless on the Bayern Munich bench, will be going nowhere.

Ancelotti steadfast

"There is no chance of Kimmich leaving," Ancelotti unequivocally told a press conference on Friday after British press had suggested Pep Guardiola wanted to bring him to Manchester City.

The 22-year-old Germany international was a Bayern mainstay last season under the Spaniard but this term Ancelotti has brought captain Phillip Lahm back from midfield into the right back position.

Ancelotti assured on Friday that Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez never influenced his team selection while he was in charge at the Bernabéu.

New signing Mats Hummels is solidly installed alongside Jerome Boateng in the centre of defence with David Alaba at left back in Ancelotti's preferred line up. Boateng is due back in the side on Saturday for the game with Augsburg after a near four months injury lay-off after surgery on a pectoral muscle and slots into the defence in place of Javi Martínez.

Easy Coman easy go

As Ancelotti plays a front three, there has been little playing time for French ace Coman, who is on loan from Juventus with an option to purchase.

"He's staying here," Ancelotti said. "He's important for now and important for the future."

If Bayern do want to keep Coman they must settle his 21 million euros ($22.5m) buy out clause that was part of his loan deal.

The Italian will lead Bayern against his former club in the Champions League quarter-final, and should do so with goalkeeper Manuel Neuer at his disposal.
