Ravanelli says only Juventus deserve to be in final

Ex-Juve striker fabrizio Ravanelli has suggested in the run up to the showpiece final that Real Madrid are not worthy finalists although he believes the Old Lady of Turin is very much deserving of their place. In reply to AS journalist, Mirko Calemme's question, "Is the final between these two teams fair?" he said:

"I don't think so. Juve deserve it, Los Blancos should remember what happened against Bayern. Everyone saw it. Their team is very strong but the refereeing decisions fudged the result."

Dybala the Gladiator

Juve's young star, Paulo Dybala will have no qualms about getting stuck in to the battle of the National Stadium of Wales on Saturday but he'll pick them wisely. Russell Crowe's famous on-screen character of the Gladiator has proved to be an inspiration to the immensely-talented Argentine:

"I have watched the movie maybe 30 times,” said Dybala. “It taught me that, in life, there are times when you have to stand up and fight.

“It also showed me that it is not wise to get caught up in unnecessary battles. That’s why, when people compare me to someone like Messi, I say there are no comparisons. He has already done what I am now trying to do – like winning the Champions League.”
