Ceballos brought to hospital on a stretcher, neck collar suffering from vomiting and dizziness
The Real Madrid midfielder was thrown to the ground by Pezzella of Italy as he grabbed him by the neck and Ceballos suffered from dizziness after the game.
Ceballos, who was substituted in the 85th minute for Manchester City's Brahim Diaz, was transferred from the municipal Salto del Caballo in an ambulance on a stretcher and in a neck collar.
His manager, Albert Celades, said that Ceballos "had a little bit of dizziness" and said he didn't know more as he said that the team doctor would have further information.
The exciting central midfielder tangled with Pezzella on the sideline and the Italian threw the Real Madrid player to the ground, receiving a booking for the indiscretion. He grabbed him around the throat and Ceballos fell to the ground during the second half and this was cited as a possible reason for the illness.
The national side will spend the night in Toledo before moving to Madrid tomorrow to continue to train during the international break.
