Albacete defender Bíttolo: 10 stitches in penis "no big deal"
The Argentinean defender gave a press conference after an unfortunate collision with teammate Roman Zozulya left him needing delicate medical attention.
Albacete defender Mariano Bíttolo appeared at a press conference on Tuesday after receiving 10 stitches in his penis after an accidental stamp by his teammate Roman Zozulya during the 0-0 draw with Huesca last Saturday, describing the unfortunate encounter as “no big deal.”
Bíttolo: "I'm fine"
“I’m fine,” Bíttolo told the assembled reporters. “It looked worse than it was. It’s uncomfortable but nothing to worry about.”
Bíttolo could even be passed fit to play against Rayo Vallecano at the weekend. “I’ve spoken to the coach. We’ll have to see how it develops during the week but nobody at this club is indispensable.”
