Luis Suárez shows new arrival Coutinho around at Barça

Wearing Barcelona's official training outfit, Philippe Coutinho got to know his new team mates. Luis Suárez acted as host with help from Paulinho, in introducing the new Blaugrana player to  Messi, Piqué, Busquets and Iniesta. Luis Suárez, who played a key role in the operation to bring him to Camp Nou and who will now be in charge of helping him settle in, remained at his side throughout. “Philippe is now just another member of the family”, Ivan Rakitic said on Sunday.

Injury delays Coutinho Barcelona debut

Coutinho will spend the next few days training apart from the group as he arrived carrying a thigh muscle injury but Barça medical staff are confident that he will be fit to make his debut in under three weeks. The Brazilian won't be able to play in Sunday's game against Real Sociedad in San Sebastián and will likely miss the following league game away at Betis but he might be ready to appear in a hypothetical Copa del Rey quarter final (providing Barça can get through their Last 16 tie against Celta) - if not, then he could make his debut against Alavés at Camp Nou on Sunday 28th.
