Arda's subtle swipe at Galatasaray for not pursuing his services
The Turkish player posted a picture on his Twitter account of the iconic old Galatasaray ground, the Ali Sami Yen with a loaded message.
Arda Turan has taken to Twitter to express his disappointment with his boyhood club Galatasaray. The current Barcelona is reported to be in advanced talks with Basaksehir and despite claims from the coach of the Istanbul side that the deal is concluded, at present nothing official has been announced.
Turan was harking for a move back to the club he developed as a player and the side he supports, Galatasaray and posted a picture of the old Ali Sami Yen Galatasaray stadium with an emotive message: "Dreams from my infancy and my youth... Memories should never be forgotten and they will live forever" claimed the text over the photo of a packed stadium.
These words have been interpreted by many as a message to the club for failing to move for his signature despite making his desires to move back to CimBom public and given his situation with the Catalan club.
