Hafthor Bjornsson, who you might know as Gregor 'The Mountain' Clegane in the wildly popular HBO series Game of Thrones, is not sitting around waiting for the next season of GoT to start shooting. He is busy working out for the Arnold Strongman Classic 2018, when he will compete to see if he is the strongest man in the world.

In the video below that he uploaded to the social media network, Instagram, he does what he does best and that is defy human limits and crush things. In this instance, he is deadlifting 440 kilos, which is an outrageous amount of weight to lift. A kilo is about as heavy as a litre of water, so it's like lifting up 440 litres of water at once.

Bjornsson is one of the most recognisable faces at the competition but he has failed to winning, always falling behind Brian Shaw and Eddie Hall in the competitions Arnold Classic and World's Strongest Man. In 2017, 'The Mountain' came second in the Arnold Classic and third in the deadlift with 435 kilos lifted.

If there is anyone who could come close to beating Eddie Hall's 500kg record deadlift, it could very well be the man we know as Clegane. The Icelandic is 2.05 metres tall and weight 179 kilos. We will keep our eyes on whether he can win the strong man competition this year!
