"A treat": Barcelona press respond to Champions League draw
The media in Catalonia opened their front pages on Saturday with joyous pleasure after Barça were pitted against Serie A side Roma, who they feel will ensure a semi-final place.
The papers in Catalonia all had a similar tone running through their headlines on Saturday morning, that FC Barcelona had been handed a very favourable draw for the Champions League quarter finals.
Barça press happy with Roma draw
Italian side Roma had navigated their way past Shakhtar Donetsk in the Last 16, qualifying on the away goals rule after the two-legged tie ended 2-2. And, along with LaLiga side Sevilla, the Giallorossi were seen by many as the weakest of the potential opponents in Friday's draw.
Mundo Deportivo opened with "Roma, el que querían" (Roma, the one we wanted).
Sport chose "Un bombón" (a treat)
L'Esportiu went with the Italian "ba bene" (It's all ok").
