According to the police report, Glover’s wife was involved in a heated argument with the player and his 62-year-old mother at a rented house on Saturday May 12 after Glover carded a 78 at the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. “When [Lucas] plays a bad round of golf, Krista proceeds to start an altercation with a telling him how he is a loser and a pussy, how he needs to fire everyone and how he’d better win or her and the kids would leave him and he would never see the kids again,” the report read.

When police arrived at the scene, they found Glover and his mother with various injuries. Krista Glover then resisted arrest and refused to be seated in the patrol car, kicking the door and managing to flee momentarily before being detained. Glover later confirmed that his wife was drunk at the time. Neither the player or his mother have pressed charges and Mrs Glover was released on bail the following morning.
However, she faces a date in court on May 31 on charges of domestic violence battery and resisting arrest.
Glover later posted on social media: “On May 12, my wife and mother were involved in an argument to which the police were called. Everyone is fine. Regrettably, although Krista was charged, we are comfortable that the judicial system is able to address what actually happened and Krista will be cleared in this private matter. We thank you for respecting our privacy as we work through this unfortunate situation.”
