Ramos rallies players and appeals to secure 2nd place
'El Partidazo' claim it was a private crisis meeting and the Madrid captain called for respect for the coach: "Whoever doesn't give everything, will be out of the team".

According to Cadena COPE's El Partidazo programme, Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos called the players to a crisis meeting in Valdebebas yesterday morning to ask for a committed effort in all of the team's 12 remaining games this season. No members of the coaching staff were at the meeting. During the chat, Ramos was highly critical of his team mates, who he asked to make a concerted effort to clinch second place in LaLiga - that would involve nudging Atlético out of the runners-up slot; the rojiblancos are currently five points ahead of their city rivals on 53 points.

Ramos made a plea to his team mates to show respect to coach to Santiago Solari, whose days in the job are numbered, and for his parting shot, ended, "Whoever isn't fully committed and doesn't give everything they've got, might as well leave".
Isco told off
'El Partidazo' also claimed that the captain gave Isco a ticking off for showing poor attitude. After finding out that he wasn't in the squad, Isco didn't get on the team bus to accompany his team mates to the Santiago Bernabéu for the Ajax game and didn't go down to the dressing room on the final whistle, after Madrid had been eliminated. Isco apologised to his team mates, admitting that he was angry with Solari, but shouldn't have taken it out on the team.
