Real Madrid: Ramos celebrates Celta win with nod to Navas
Sergio Ramos took to Twitter to savour Real Madrid's victory over Celta Vigo in Zinedine Zidane's first game back in the Bernabéu dugout.
He was his goalkeeper for two and a half seasons, and Zinedine Zidane was in no doubt whatsoever: Keylor Navas had to play against Celta Vigo in the Frenchman's first game back as Real Madrid coach.
Ramos posts photo of himself with keeper Navas
Navas is a popular figure in the Madrid dressing room, and after Saturday's LaLiga win over relegation-threatened Celta, club captain Sergio Ramos underlined that fact on social media by posting a photo in which he can be seen shaking hands with the Costa Rican, above the message: "We'll fight until the end for this badge, for this shirt, for our fans."
2-0 win in Navas' first LaLiga start for two months
Having been understudy to summer signing Thibaut Courtois so far this term, Navas made his first LaLiga start since 13 January - and only his fourth all season - as goals by Isco and Gareth Bale saw Los Blancos begin Zidane's second spell in charge with a 2-0 victory at the Santiago Bernabéu.
