Three Real Madrid players make Spain Euro U21 squad
The Spain U21 squad fly to Italy next week to participate in the UEFA U-21 European championships where they play in Group A.
Luis de la Fuente has named the 23 players that will form the Spain Under-21 squad ahead of the European Championships that are set to be staged in Italy and San Marino from June 16th through to June 30.
The coach has had to let go Eibar's Marc Cucurella and Barça's Carles Aleñá who formed part of his initial 25 man pre-tournament group.
Three Real Madrid players form part of the squad with midfielder Dani Ceballos, defender Jesus Vallejo and striker Borja Mayoral.
Spain Euro 2019 U-21 squad:
-Goalkeepers: Unai Simón (Athletic), Antonio Sivera (Alavés) & Dani Martín (Sporting).
-Defenders: Jorge Meré (Koln), Martín Aguirregabiria (Alavés), Junior Firpo (Betis), Aarón Martín (Mainz 05), Jesus Vallejo (Real Madrid), Pedro Porro (Girona) & Unai Núñez (Athletic).
-Midfieldes: Dani Ceballos (Real Madrid), Marc Roca (Espanyol), Alfonso Pedraza y Pablo Fornals (Villarreal), Carlos Soler (Valencia), Fabián Ruiz (Nápoles), Igor Zubeldia & Mikel Merino (Real Sociedad).
-Strikers: Borja Mayoral (Levante), Dani Olmo (Dinamo Zagreb), Mikel Oyarzabal (Real Sociedad), Rafa Mir (Las Palmas) & Manu Vallejo (Cádiz).
