Liverpool full-back and Scotland captain Andy Robertson has come up against some of top forwards in the game - Leo Messi, Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling... But none of them have given him as many problems as Eden Hazard, who will complete his move from Chelsea to Real Madrid on Thursday. Robertson was full of complimentary words for Hazard, who he expects will give him a tough time when Belgium host Scotland in tonight's Euro 2020 qualifier in Brussels, when he attended the media at the King Baudouin Stadium. The Liverpool left-back admitted that Hazard "is probably the best player in the world right now".

"Hazard, probably the best in the world right now"

Robertson was asked about Hazard and his impending move to Madrid: “Obviously there’s been a lot of speculation about him and I’m sure he’ll be delighted when it’s over the line and he’s done it," he told reporters. "He’s probably the best player I’ve come up against, on his day, in terms of the Premier League. He deserves his move; he deserves all the plaudits he gets. He’s a fantastic player, a world class player and probably one of the best in the world right now. Fair play to him for his move but it all comes back to showing him respect for his ability but trying not to show him too much respect or that we fear him".
