Another LA Galaxy player to perform in the Gold Cup
Uriel Antuna makes the cut, as Gerardo 'Tata' Martino include him for the Mexican National Team roster that will face the CONCACAF summer tournament.
The LA Galaxy has one more representation for three in the Gold Cup as Jonathan dos Santos, and Uriel Antuna made it to the final roster of the Mexican National Team.
Antuna has proved its value with the Californian team, being this his first season with Galaxy but the 21-year-old winger has impressed everyone since arriving on loan from Manchester City in January.
The young player has speed and dribbling ability that set him as a key piece of Galaxy's offensive line, having two goals and two assists so far in the US league.
Antuna that made his Mexican national team on June 6, coming off the bench in the 3-1 victory over Venezuela, replaces Club America defender, Jorge Sanches who didn't make the cut due to injury.
This Gold Cup will be Uriel Antuna's first major tournament, besides the 2017 U20 World Cup, which only proves the progression the youngster has had, and what led Manchester City to sign him and why LA Galaxy GM, Denis Te Kloese was keen on getting him for the 2019 MLS season.
