Zidane's Real Madrid squad surprise as no Carvajal or Hazard
Los Blancos' French coach has selected his matchday squad for the trip to Mallorca, with one eye on the Champions League, and the other on new dad Eden.

Real Madrid have publised the squad list for their Saturday evening game against Mallorca, and there are a couple of surprises from Zinedine Zidane.
Carvajal and Hazard out for Madrid
Dani Carvajal and Eden Hazard have both been left out of the squad for the trip to the island stadium of Son Moix. The Spanish defender has been rested with minds on the crucial Champions League game on Tuesday against Galatasaray, while the Belgian winger is being given some time off after having become a father for the fourth time.

Other notable changes to the group include the appearance of Brahim's name, for the first time this season, along with Mariano. Both Marcelo and Mendy are back in after their injuries and, as expected, there is no sign of Nacho, Kroos, Modric, Lucas Vázquez or Bale.
