Theo's lifestyle change: trips to lake Como and playing with his dogs
The left-back has matured since moving to Milan in the summer and Gazzetta dello Sport credits the change with a switch of mentality for Hernández.
A change is as good as a rest sometimes. Theo Hernández was hoping that saying was true when he packed his bags and left Madrid for Milan in the summer. The left-back is making waves at his new club, in a good way, despite the club not performing particularly well as a collective. He has been picked in a number of best teams in Serie A season and is leaving a good impression at his new club.
It's not by chance either as the former Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid player has changed his lifestyle completely. He wants to lose the 'bad boy' name he earned during his time in Spain. According to Gazzetta dello Sport on Tuesday, they speak about his politeness, sincerity and his fit within the team.
The Italian newspaper says that it can be accredited to trips to Lake Como, where Theo spends his free time mostly with his mother Laurence, who lives between Madrid, Milan and Munich with Lucas playing in Germany. He also likes to play with his dogs in the garden whenever he gets a chance to disconnect.
The change has made Theo a more mature player and to grow both personally and as a football. This was evident recently when he scored the winning goal during Milan's game against Parma. He is far from the player who looked lot at times during his time at Madrid.
